<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">What you will do as our Facilities Maintenance Supervisor:   

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Summary: <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor perform and supervise technicians performing maintenance, service and repairs in the areas of equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, repairs and upgrades. Oversees the preventive maintenance program. Acts as subject matter expert or point of contact to EH&S consultants to ensure adherence to procedures and regulations.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">REPORTS TO:  Manufacturing Engineering Manager

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Coordinate and assist in performing regularly scheduled maintenance (preventive maintenance) on all production and R&D equipment, including support equipment, conforming to internal requirements and manufacturer’s specifications.
  2. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Coordinate daily work order assignments for technicians as requested by the Department Managers.
  3. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are recorded, organized, and complete.  Records must be readily available for reference or audit purposes.
  4. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
  5. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Recommend purchase of necessary maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  6. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive EH&S, Training, Documentation and awareness program.
  7. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Perform safety inspections and Assist all departments in EH&S awareness, regulations and conformity.
  8. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Update EHS Action Plans/PD goals and attend monthly meetings
  9. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Prepare EHS PSP’ for injuries, serious near misses
  10. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Support the Quality System and Quality Policy by following procedures/work instructions and creating records to meet the requirements of Tecan SP Quality System and ISO registration.

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> 

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">High School Diploma or GED. AA degree or equivalent training preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Minimum 10 years of experience in related manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatics and hydraulic maintenance, PLC and controls troubleshooting; certifications preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">General knowledge of EH&S and OHSA regulations as it pertains to manufacturing operations and general facilities required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">General Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance governance under ISO 13485 or FDA regulations required.
