Customer Operations Coordinator France
What you will do
This role is a fixed term contract until 31st December 2022, part of the European Customer Operations FR team based in Lyon. Customer Operations is a cross functional collaborative team that is the focal point between Customer, Sales, Service, and Operations. The team’s aim is to ensure that all responses are handled in a timely manner with expertise and proficiency, all needs are met whilst ensuring processes are aligned, optimised and compliant.
Responsibilities will include
- Manage sales orders/contracts for all Divisions (Liquid Handling, Detection, Service, Consumables, IBL, T-GN). This will include
- Communication with customer regarding order status
- Follow up with Order Handling if needed
- Organize transportation associated to order
- Liaising with Service team to organize delivery
- Support Service Team:
- Management of maintenance contracts/warranty and creation of stakeholder notifications
- Spare Part Returns
- Cancellation and changes of equipment in contracts or complete contract cancellations
- Admin Support :
- Managing FR Email Inbox/Phone/Reception – first point of contact for customer inquiries/complaints
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders: e.g. provide information on order status, delivery status, invoicing…
- Support with preparation of tender applications (manage deadlines, any follow-ups and archiving)
- Updating of customer accounts / customer files
- Inventory Management: e.g. Demo Units, Inventory checks, Transferring of Stock (FSE Parts, Instruments)…
- Active participation in on going improvements of Customer Operations processes
- Supporting various ad hoc requests from Management Team
- Backup FR CO Team and SW Europe offices when required (during vacation, sick leave)
What you bring along
- HND/DEUG/BTS (Baccalaureate +2)
- An experience in Sales support/back-office function
- Commercial Administration and / or Customer Service
- SAP & Microsoft Office
- Reliable, self-motivated and team driven
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver quality
- Reliable, accurate and possess strong organisational skills
- Good communication and listening skills
- Readiness to learn and grow
- Productive and autonomous worker
- Ability to deal with changing priorities and circumstances
- Take initiative to propose improvements to make Tecan better
- Fluent in French & English
