Senior System Integration Scientist (m/f/d) 100%

 

What you will do

As a Systems Integration Scientist you will work cross-functionally to support the integration of individual assays, hardware modules, and software components in detection systems. You develop and execute test protocols and verification tests to evaluate and troubleshoot the performance of complex interactions between assays and mechatronic modules – including thermal control modules, detection modules, and precision motion control elements.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Identify, confirm, and interpret instrument performance issues related to integration of individual assays, hardware, and software modules
  • Communicate issues cross-functionally and provide suggestions, solutions, and/or test plans for resolution
  • Demonstrate strong background in DoE and DMAIC to develop best practices in integrated system development
  • Execute required testing for technical feasibility, system integration, and verification.
  • Perform data analyses and maintain accurate data records, test plans, and reports in a clear and concise style and in full accordance with the organizational quality processes
  • Process large sets of data for statistical modeling and graphic analysis. Report results of analyses including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables

 

What you bring along

  • Bachelor or higher in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in the life sciences or in-vitro diagnostic industry
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Python, JMP, Minitab
  • Basic statistics knowledge of advantage
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

For the position, a salary starting at EUR 3,670.02 gross is provided.
