You will own the alignment of business objectives with employees and management. As our HR Business Partner, you will deliver value-added service supporting people and capability objectives, including employee performance, employee relations, engagement, and training efforts. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Provides HR Business Partner support to people leaders regarding employee performance issues, rewards and retention, training and development, and policy interpretation.
  • May act as a Team Lead to HR colleagues and assist with ensuring day-to-day completion of critical business functions, including:
    • Maintenance and integrity of HR Information Systems (HRIS), including ADP, SAP, and SuccessFactors
    • Recruitment activity and external recruiter efforts
    • Bi-weekly payroll activities
    • Administration of all employee benefits and leaves of absence, including FMLA
  • Reviews, revises, creates, and regularly updates HR policies and programs in line with the Global HR policies and programs. Partner with HR leadership in maintaining the Employee Handbook and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by completing annual reporting and following policies and procedures (including HCE testing, filing of IRS 5500 forms, and census filing for EEOC compliance, COBRA, AA, ACA).
  • Oversees and leads efforts in preparing required annual government and employee benefit reports and records filings such as EEOC, Census data, VETS 100 Report, 300A, ACA reporting (healthcare reform), etc.
  • Act as a partner in training and development needs across the organization by identifying, recommending, and designing (as required) appropriate training.
  • Provides input in the design, annual evaluation, renewal process, and administration of all employee health and welfare benefits. 
  • Provides input in the annual performance review process. 
  • Supports employee engagement and employee survey efforts.
  • Supports other Human Resources activities and requirements as necessary and in the absence of the Vice President of Human Resources, Americas.
  • Coordinates the Worker’s Compensation program and participates as a member of the Safety Committee
  • Ability to travel within the US, including overnight, up to 10% of the time.
  • Handles essential tasks as assigned and responds to change productively.
  • Follow all local safety procedures and state and federal OSHA regulations and report any safety concerns.
  • Extensive internal interaction with all levels of employees to counsel in interpreting and applying personnel programs, benefits, and company objectives. 
  • External interaction with many groups (e.g., account representatives from insurance companies, 401(k) plan administrators, attorneys, newspaper ad departments, staffing agencies, and travel agencies).

 

Your background:

 

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent (PHR)
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with all areas of personnel administration
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to recognize potential problem areas and resolve them with confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task
  • High level of commitment and initiative
  • Ability and willingness to travel

  • Proven team player
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
