Head of Group Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis

Your contribution
You will report directly to the CFO. In this key finance leadership role, you will be a trusted partner to the CFO, Management Board, and business leaders worldwide. You will drive financial planning, performance management, business partnering, and strategic decision support while ensuring reliable financial reporting across the Group.
Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & FP&A
- Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Develop planning models and scenario analyses
- Provide financial insights for strategic decisions
- Drive performance management and reporting
Business Partnering & Controlling
- Lead Finance & Controlling for Operations, R&D, and Global Functions
- Act as strategic partner to senior leaders
- Challenge business plans and financial assumptions
- Develop controlling teams and promote accountability
Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely closings
- Support global Accounting & Reporting (IFRS/statutory)
- Support CFO reporting to Management Board/Board of Directors
Finance Transformation
- Standardize and improve planning and reporting processes
- Drive automation and advanced analytics
M&A
- Lead financial due diligence and valuations for M&A
- Support post-merger integration
Your background

Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Controlling and broader Finance leadership roles.
- Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, performance management and business partnering.
- Proven leadership experience in an international industrial environment.
- M&A and post-merger integration experience is an advantage.
