Head of Investor Relations

Your contribution
As Head of Investor Relations, you will lead Tecan’s Group Investor Relations activities and serve as the primary interface between the company and the capital markets. You will ensure clear, consistent, and credible communication of our strategy, financial performance, outlook, and investment proposition to investors and analysts. You will build trusted relationships with the investment community, strengthen understanding of Tecan’s equity story, and provide Management and the Board with relevant capital-market insights and investor perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trust and credibility with investors and analysts
- Ensure a clear, compelling, and consistent equity story aligned with company strategy
- Enhance capital-market understanding of Tecan’s strategy, financial performance, growth drivers, and value-creation potential
- Develop strong relationships with existing and prospective shareholders
- Provide Management and the Board with investor feedback, market intelligence, and external perspectives
- Support appropriate market positioning and a well-informed, diversified shareholder base
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, timely, and compliant financial-market communication
- Serve as a key contact for institutional investors, equity analysts, and other capital-market participants
- Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other capital-market events
- Lead the preparation and coordination of financial results communication, including presentations, scripts, Q&A materials, and supporting documents
- Develop and continuously refine Tecan’s equity story and investment proposition
- Monitor investor sentiment, analyst research, consensus expectations, and capital-market developments
- Ensure Investor Relations activities comply with applicable stock-exchange regulations, disclosure requirements, and internal policies
Your background

- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or in a business journalism function
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High integrity and accountability

- Leadership skills and ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in German and English
