Your contribution

As an Internal Communication Trainee at Tecan, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal communications activities, ensuring a steady flow of relevant and engaging content to our global workforce. Collaborating closely with colleagues from various departments and external providers, you will assist in:

 

Responsibilities

As an Internal Communication Trainee at Tecan, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal communications activities, ensuring a steady flow of relevant and engaging content to our global workforce. Collaborating closely with colleagues from various departments and external providers, you will assist in:

 

  • Collating, proofreading and checking approvals on communications content
  • Creating and curating branded assets (e.g., PowerPoint decks, flyers, visuals)
  • Uploading and scheduling publication of intranet, news and other content using the Asana project management tool
  • Organizing resources and supporting logistics and technical aspects of live video streaming/Teams meetings
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure timely and high-quality project execution
  • Supporting internal communication campaigns through active engagement on Viva Exchange and other channels
  • Managing SharePoint content, including templates and performance monitoring, in line with the editorial plan
  • Coordinating logistics for internal campaigns and events, giveaways, printing and shipping      

 

Your background

We’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.

  • University degree (BA or MA) in Communication or Business Administration, or currently pursuing
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders from different departments and seniority levels
  • Experience with digital publication platforms and editorial processes preferred
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written); German or other languages a plus
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in internal communications, branding or event support is a strong asset
  • Curious, organized, eager to learn, attentive to detail and confident using digital tools, including AI tools for content creation
  • Graphic design, photo/video and Adobe Suite skills a strong plus
