Field Service Engineer 100%

What you will do

In this challenging and important role you are responsible for promoting the customer satisfactions and sales, through repair and maintenance, sales/promotion support of Tecan products. This job mainly covers LIHA and DET products.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Repair, maintenance, up-grade service of Tecan Products, by himself/herself or by using 3rd party service
  • Customer care in general
  • Seek technical consultations to HQ related to the above activities
  • Provide technical support of Korean distributors
  • Provide quotation and other documentation works related to the above activities
  • Perform Helpdesk duties as requires
  • Support of Korean services
  • Do demonstration and installation, including programing and scripting for products
  • Design configurable products, creation of proposals, creation of product specification
  • Provide product trainings to Tecan employees, customers, and dealers
  • Provide sales support such as on-site sale support and attendance to exhibitions.
  • Collect information for sales activities such as competitor's information, budget status for new purchase or replacement

 

What you bring along

  • Degree or above in Life Science or related
  • Solid experience in a scientific laboratory and with multi-mode reader is desirable
  • Field Service Engineering experience
  • Programing, VB.net or  C#, C++ are desirable
  • Good experiences on the fields of pharmaceutical, environmental, food and industrial analysis and sample preparing is required
  • English reading & writing
