Sales Specialist Detection South France - 100%

What you will do

In this challenging and important role you are responsible to serve customers by selling Tecan liquid handling products, identify customer needs, support current and existing products and customers.

You will work closely with Sales Management, other Sales team members to develop and maintain sales opportunities.

You will be the first-line liaison for Tecan with customers in the assigned territory.

You are ideally based in the South of France.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Serves as a responsible representative of Tecan France and operates with integrity and honesty in all business contacts.
  • Develops and maintains a high level of consultative system sales skills, and product knowledge with associated features and benefits required to convert customer needs to sales.
  • Respond to tenders (preparation, organization, constitution of the reply file, follow-up) in collaborations with other colleagues from other department (inside sales, back office, service and reagents sales team)
  • Creates new partnerships to develop new markets and manages relationship with currents partners
  • Responds to problems or complaints that arise in accounts, either by personal action or by securing the assistance and support from others in the organization.
  • Works closely with Manager in regard to product training, monthly sales forecast, monthly sales figures, and developing action plans to fix commercial or market issues.
  • Collects and maintains up-to-date competitive and market information to disseminate to the sales force as well as the marketing and manufacturing sites.

 

 

What you bring along

  • Science Degree or equivalent (BAC/MAS)
  • At least 5 years sales experience in laboratory instrument
  • French native and english (B2 or higher)
  • Practical computer skills
  • Good communicator & negotiator
  • Professional behavior
  • Operates with honesty & integrity in all business contacts
  • Engaging and passionate with people interaction
  • Emotionally resilient
