Global Sales Operations Manager 80-100%


What you will do

You will represent the Life Science Business (LSB) in Tecan’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) S&OP process. This will include reconciling the regional monthly forecast, attending S&OP meetings, as well as being the main contact point for our production teams and regional offices.  You will serve as the liaison between various stakeholders (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance) as well as act as the single point of contact for both manufacturing and sales organizations (LSB) regarding order handling.


Responsibilities will include

  • Be the voice of LSB in all monthly S&OP demand meetings, provide consolidated demand and supply regional insights
  • Manage the Global Demand Processes, including collaboration with regional offices and local Supply Chain Teams
  • Lead the forecasting process across regions to promote granularity and transparency of the demand plans (forecast accuracy KPI)
  • Creation of defined reports for users as well as regular updates of existing reports
  • Run defined analysis based on defined requirements
  • Training of users on Business Warehouse functions
  • Commercial Excellence KPI reporting


What you bring along

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 5 years of professional experience in demand planning and analysis (IBP) in an international environment
  • Process analysis and improvement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of SAP ERP / BW (i.e. data extraction experience)
  • Very good English and German skills
