Head Technical Support 80-100%
 

What you will do 
In this challenging and important role, you are the team leader functionally and administratively of the Technical support team. Furthermore, you are responsible to design, create and provide technical product trainings for our Liquid Handling instruments. 

 

Responsibilities will include 
•    Manage a team of technical support specialists
•    Coordinate and prioritize 2nd and 3rd level technical support on a global level according to regulatory requirements
•    Follow up with customers to gauge their satisfaction with problem resolution
•    Investigates technical issues remotely or on-site and communicate solutions to local service organizations, distributors, and partners worldwide 
•    Active participation in Product Care Team meetings 
•    Release and maintain technical content in worldwide solution database 
•    Defines training curriculum. Ensure ongoing training for technical support staff; advise tech support staff on career planning; maintain and analyze training records 

 

What you bring along 
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering/Hardware  
•    Advanced knowledge in electronics and software
•    At least 3 years of working experience in a Technical Support Manager role (ability to diagnose hardware and troubleshot technical issues)
•    Leadership experience
•    Fluent German and English Skills
•    Experience defining technical training requirements and curricula
