Senior Integrated Marketing Manager (Marketing Excellence & Lab Automation) 80-100%


What you will do

In this highly strategic double headed role, you will be responsible for driving marketing processes, execution with excellence across the marketing organization as well as creating a positive change culture. The other part of the role will include the marketing lead for Genomics automation which includes the development and execution of a strategic marketing plan, product launches, and marketing campaigns. 

You will serve as a single point of contact for the business leaders, product, and application managers as well as regional organization.

It is a role with high impact across the organization, which requires a strategic mindset as well as a hands-on approach.


Responsibilities will include

  • Leading the development and execution of annual marketing plans to achieve business objectives. Leading multifunctional teams as well as external partners will be a key aspect of the role, while engaging with more senior stakeholders on a frequent basis.
  • Improving and embedding marketing excellence processes, marketing capability and execution with excellence will be another core part of the role.
  • Success is measured based on achievement of pre-defined KPIs, such as generated leads and opportunities on the one hand and implementation measures for key projects. 


Integrated marketing

  • Work closely with business leaders and product/application managers to align on a strategic marketing plan, key priorities, targets, budgets, and execution timelines.
  • Jointly with the product management group develop targeted annual marketing plan and through the line execution for the Genomics automation portfolio incl. product launches and commercial initiatives.
  • Responsible for development, planning, design, and execution of go-to-market plans and marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Collaborate with product managers/owners to generate customer insights, develop compelling value propositions and ultimately customer centric marketing plans/executions.
  • Develop integrated marketing and media plans incl. creative execution to lead generation for the given service/product. 
  • Ensure global alignment and collaboration between the HQ team and regional organizations while planning and executing on the global marketing plan, marketing campaigns and supporting development of sales enablement tools.
  • Manage budgets, track marketing campaign performance against the pre-defined KPIs and metrics.


Marketing Excellence

  • Lead the development and implementation of marketing excellence and its processes, e.g., annual planning.
  • Guide and drive how creative development is conducted across the global marketing organization incl. agency management.
  • Drive continued improvement in campaign development and management incl. KPI dashboard development.


What you bring along

  • At least 8 years of marketing experience within a multinational organization, including hands-on experience in annual marketing/brand planning, launching new products, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record in leading multifunctional teams and collaborating across functions (across regions)
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, dealing effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in developing and execution annual marketing plans 
  • Development of impactful customer insights, value propositions; coaching and guiding technical teams through the process.
  • Negotiating and managing deliverables in line with budget, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences and have in-depth knowledge of various marketing tactics. 
  • General understanding of digital media, online marketing, and other major marketing channels, preferably in Life Sciences space
  • Mature and resilient when dealing with challenging situations and tight deadlines; excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on mentality is a must as well as seeing opportunities rather than problems.
