Service Product Manager 80-100%

 

What you will do

In this challenging and important role in the Global Service and Aftersales team, you are responsible for development and launch of (digital) service products, definition and implementation of Go-to-Market strategy, advancement of the service strategy as well as project management and process improvements.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Analyze market trends and conduct customer interviews (Go-to-Gemba / Voice-of-Customers) and distil user needs for (digital) product development
  • Drive ideation (market-pull) & concept development for new / extended products
  • Assess business opportunities to support decision making (business cases)
  • Iterate conceptual designs with cross-functional/ regional stakeholders and customers
  • Take the project lead and coordinate technical experts
  • Sharpen value proposition and develop sales arguments (playbook)
  • Define the commercial business models and the pricing strategy
  • Contribute to marketing and communication activities (incl. campaigns)
  • Support in service strategy definition and refinements
  • Define hypotheses for business analyses and synthesize results for decision-making
  • Improve Service’s project management from ideation to roll-out of services

 

What you bring along

  • Master degree or equivalent in technical or scientific area
  • Additional degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in service and life-science
  • Experience in strategy definition and consultancy
  • Experience in project and process management
  • Fluent English and German skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
