Mechanical Engineer (w/m/d)

Your contribution
In this versatile role, you will work on the development of (optical) laboratory devices for medical technology.
- Develop mechanical concepts and support the further development of our product portfolio of microplate readers, washers, optical modules and imaging solutions for microbiology.
- Create 3D designs, drawings, and technical documentation
- Prepare production documents for prototyping and manufacturing
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams such as software, electronics, firmware, optics, and motion control
- Clarify technical requirements with suppliers and support implementation
- Contribute to robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable design solutions
Your profile

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Solid experience in mechanical design and precision engineering
- Solid knowledge of 3D CAD, ideally PTC Creo and PTC Windchill
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, measuring techniques, and tolerance analysis
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing
- Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in medical devices, robotics, or other high-precision products is a plus

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4,039,55 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
