Objectives
- Lead development projects as Project Manager
- Responsible for achieving the project targets as deadlines, budgets, KPI's,
- Mid-size projects or subprojects; Platform project, Customer projects
- Define and build-up project teams with the right cross-functional mix of professional skills in the teams.
- Manage the planning, staffing and execution of project according to the applicable development processes.
- Planning, monitoring and reporting of projects with coordination of interfaces to related projects.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the cross-functional team to achieve the overall project targets including design transfer and industrialization of the product.
- Ensure with leadership experience and methodological competence efficient implementation and adherence to processes, guidelines and regulations.
- Proactively manage stakeholders of the project.
- Proactively identifies and solves conflicts in the project team.
Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team leadership
- Responsible for overall project planning & tracking: cost, schedule, and requirements.
- Responsible for aligning & achieving project targets such as deadlines, budgets, and agreed cross-functional KPIs.
- Responsible for the quality output of the team.
- Responsible for compliance with Tecan guidelines and processes.
- Responsible for completing the developed product solution or component including design transfer and final release.
- Responsible for an effective project organization according to the development model, including processes, SOPs, directives, and guidelines.
- Responsible for adequate and capable project resources
- Communicate clear and detailed project status to stakeholders.
- Responsible for risk and change management and project trade-offs
- Responsible for escalation to relevant decision boards
Requirements
BSc, MSc Technical degree, preferably technical, life science, mechanical, electrical or software engineering
PMP or similar certifications
Change Management and leadership training/education
Project Management or equivalent experience
Product Management
Strong presentation & communication
Presenting a technical solution to a technical and non-technical audience
Experience in leading highly regulated product development projects
Experience in automation
Experience in assay development
Agile project management
Additional Credentials:
Japanese Language Proficiency is a plus
