Core Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Visual inspection on PCBA under magnifier and microscope
  • Using the AOI machine to validate defects
  • Inspecting with an X-ray machine to inspect BGA’s solder joints
  • Defect data computer entries
  • Performing WIP transactions
  • Filling out Materials Shortage Reports
  • Reads, understands, and follows Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI)
  • Notifies the Manager, Supervisor, or Support Engineers of any issues

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work Swing Shift (3:30 pm -12:00 am) Monday - Friday
  • Ability to speak, write, and read English
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI’s)
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Must be familiar with IPC-A-610 inspection criteria for PCBA
  • Experience with X-ray and AOI machine
  • Understanding of SMT Inspection Practices and proper Printed Circuit Board handling techniques.
  • Understanding ESD and safety practices
  • Ability to communicate issues with Managers, Supervisors, and Engineers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
