Distributor Sales Manager LATAM 80-100%

What you will do

In this challenging role you will support the Global Distributors Team as Sales Manager for LATAM. You will own the relationship with the Distributors in the LATAM and drive the growth of Tecan in the region.


Responsibilities will include

  • Serves as a representative of Tecan and operates with integrity and honesty during all business contacts with distributor partners in Latin America.
  • Develops and maintains a high level of consultative system sales skills and product knowledge with associated features and benefits required to support the Distributors into converting customer needs to sales.
  • Increase profitable sales of Tecan products and solutions in distributor network in the life sciences, applied markets and clinical diagnostics.
  • Ultimately acts as lead point of contact between Tecan and the Distribution partner.
  • Collaborate with Tecan entities and Tecan Global Distributors Team for budgeting, forecasting, pricing and order handling.
  • Support in developing, maintaining, and distributing relevant local marketing tools such as flyers, presentations, quotation templates, product demonstrations and other promotional initiatives.
  • Handles essential tasks as assigned and responds to change productively.
  • Deploy commercial excellence practices and tools to grow Tecan’s market share.
  • Maintains regional market intelligence, gives feedback to management regarding new potential applications or competition in the marketplace.


What you bring along

  • Degree in Science or business administration.
  • Experience in managing and working with Distributors
  • Professional business English
  • Preferably Spanish & Portuguese
  • Team player with global mindset
