IT Project Manager Sales and Service

What you will do

This position will be responsible for the customization, implementation and rollout of global processes for all Tecan entities, as well as documentation, change requests, support, process design, process updates (IT regular processes updates)

 Responsibilities will include

  • Plan worldwide implementation of processes in the specific scope of a project
  • Act as Project Manager or project team member for any IT application projects (new implementations, rollouts etc.) in the SAP environment
  • Provide Project documentation in the specific scope of the project
  • Monitor, coordinate and support the project during the phases of:
    • Start-Up
    • Design and Gap-Analysis
    • Implementation (customizing, testing, training)
    • Go-live preparation
    • Post go-live support
  • Second and third level support for the global SAP Helpdesk
  • Evaluate and implement change requests
  • Ensure consistency of business processes across all business units
  • Assist and provide the definition of tools and standards
  • Develop training concepts and execution of power users’ training
  • Develop concepts and implementing solutions to improve the process and system

 

Special Tasks

  • Support IT routine maintenance (patching, upgrades)
  • Consult internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and manage external consultants
  • Support in a wider range of SAP SD, CS and CX related modules  

 

 

What you bring along

Experience

  • BS/BA Degree in computer information systems, management information systems, project management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience in SAP SD, and CS
  • Recent Project Management experience required
  • Hands-on experience in CX preferred

 

Skills

  • Intercompany process know-how
  • SAP cross functional knowledge in other modules
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and mitigate stakeholders’ request
  • Team player, willing to share knowledge and consult with colleagues on project status and best practice
  • Conceptual thinking – strategic and as well pragmatic
  • Problem solving mindset and critical thinking
  • Familiar with technologies and their opportunities of integration
  • Ability in analyzing and prioritizing tasks based on business need, workload, and team goals
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Willing to take responsibility
  • Willing to gain experience in different SAP modules
  • Willing to travel within North America
  • Ability to perform under pressure and good time management
  • Experience in leading training sessions
