Project Manager Software Development (w/m/d)

Your contribution
In this versatile role, you will lead and execute R&D projects in the field of software development from early concept to market-ready product and life cycle management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, system architects, verification engineers, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and product management.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Carrying out software development activities in the software life cycle (problem analysis, design, implementation, testing, introduction, maintenance) and documentation
- Managing agile software projects (Scrum) focused on software solutions for the control, manufacturing, and service of medical laboratory devices
- Defining project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholders
- Ensure compliant project execution, progress tracking, and documentation according to applicable development and cyber security standards
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and demonstrate confident leadership across all levels of the organization
- Inspire and lead diverse project teams, creating an open, collaborative, and high-performing working environment
Your profile

- Degree in computer science or technical studies or training at a technically oriented university of applied sciences or adequate proof of knowledge in object-oriented software development
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in agile software development (Scrum)
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and technical processes – with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, paired with a structured and proactive mindset
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. medical devices or Life Science industry) is an advantage

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4,215.39 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
