Field Service Engineer


<span 72="">What you will do

<span 72="">As a Field Service Engineer, working for an industry leader, you'll join a global team of engineers that are committed to ensuring Tecan’s professional service for our customers who utilize our scientific instrumentation and software. In this position you are responsible to provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Additionally you build positive relationships with our customers, and comprehend customer requirements.


<span 72="">Responsibilities will include

<span 72="">•    Execution of service actions, installations, problem diagnosis, preventive maintenance

<span 72="">•    Training of new and existing customers on the use and maintenance of our systems (Hard- and Software)

<span 72="">•    Diagnosing of errors or technical problems and determination of proper solutions

<span 72="">•    Sharing of information obtained from unique problems or specialized training's with the rest of your team

<span 72="">•    Documentation of service actions according to industry standards


<span 72="">What you bring along

<span 72="">•    Bachelor or Master degree in life science (biology, chemistry or similar

<span 72="">•    At least two years experience in Field Service and/or Application Support

<span 72="">•    Experience in the field of lab-automation is a clear plus but not a must

<span 72="">•    Excellent communication skills in English

<span 72="">•    A valid driver’s licence

<span 72="">•    Strong analytical and problem solving skills

<span 72="">•    Highly customer oriented mindset
