QC Receiving Inspector
Onsite – Baldwin Park, CA
Schedule: Day Shift 6AM-2:30PM
Temp-to-Perm | Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $21–$25/hr DOE

In this role, you will perform incoming and final inspections, work with advanced measurement tools including CMM systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

How Will You Make an Impact?
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products
• Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), including programming for specialized inspection plans
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Conduct first article inspections (FAI), source inspections, and final product evaluations
• Utilize advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators, etc.)
• Prepare and process Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and segregate nonconforming material
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve inspection plans and processes
• Support quality investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation in compliance with quality standards and ISO requirements
• Mentor and support less experienced inspectors
• Communicate critical quality issues impacting production schedules
What You Bring
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with CMM systems (Zeiss preferred)
• Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility to work extended hours or different shifts as needed
Your Background
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 4+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience inspecting electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment
• Experience working within quality systems (ISO or similar)
Nice to Have
• Associate-level technical coursework or certification
• Experience with Optical CMM systems
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T and inspection methodologies
• Experience training or mentoring team members
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Visual acuity, including color differentiation, required
