Sales Generalist – Liquid Handling & Detection (France) – 100%

 

Are you passionate about driving innovation in laboratory automation and building strong customer relationships? We are looking for a dynamic Sales Generalist Liquid Handling & Detection to join our team, whose scope covers the south of France.

 

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales opportunities, supporting customers, and representing Tecan’s values in a diverse and fast-paced environment. Your role

 

  • Serve customers by selling Tecan liquid handling and detection products in the assigned France territory.
  • Act as the first-line liaison between Tecan and customers, identifying their needs and providing suitable solutions through a consultative selling approach.
  • Achieve sales targets for the assigned product lines within the territory.
  • Work closely with Sales Management, Service, Detection and Automation teams to develop and maintain sales opportunities.
  • Support current and existing products and customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain high-level consultative system sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations, installations, and customer training.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows and events.
  • Manage customer accounts, complete all required information in the CRM system, and provide feedback to management on new potential applications or competitive landscape.
  • Represent Tecan France with integrity and honesty in all business contacts.

 

Your background

 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, ideally in a scientific field.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in laboratory automation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to multitask and manage complex customer situations independently.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Practical computer skills; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Professional, engaging, and passionate about people interaction.
  • Operates with honesty and integrity in all business contacts.
  • Emotionally resilient and able to work in a dynamic environment.
