Sales Specialist Liquid Handling & Robotics – Italy (Full-time)

 

 

Your Impact

 

As a Sales Specialist, you will serve customers by selling Tecan’s innovative liquid handling products in the Italian territory. You will be the first-line liaison between Tecan and our customers, acting with integrity and honesty in all business contacts. Your consultative approach will help identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions, while you work closely with Sales Management, Service, Detection, and Automation teams to develop and maintain sales opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned product lines within your territory
  • Independently manage complex customer situations and support colleagues in resolution procedures
  • Develop and maintain high-level consultative sales skills and product knowledge
  • Acquire a detailed understanding of customer accounts to develop effective strategies
  • Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations; participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Resolve customer complaints through investigation and solution development
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer information in our CRM system
  • Provide feedback to management on new applications and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate on product training, sales forecasts, and action plans
  • Collect up-to-date competitive and market information
  • Follow all local safety procedures and regulations

 

Your Background

 

  • Science degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in laboratory instruments
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the medical or life science industry, ideally in a laboratory environment
  • Native Italian speaker; fluent in English
  • Practical computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time, territory, and accounts effectively
  • Knowledge of the liquid handling marketplace is a plus
  • Professional, honest, and engaging with people interaction
  • Emotionally resilient and passionate about making a difference
