Senior System Integrator (80–100%)

 

Männedorf, Zürich

 

Your contribution

In this versatile role, you will be part of multidisciplinary project teams responsible for the development and maintenance of laboratory automation systems.

 

As a System Integrator focused on life-cycle management, you will work closely with mechanical, electronic, and software experts to develop solutions and improvements. You will build functional samples and prototypes, test functionalities, analyze errors, and be responsible for planning, execution, and documentation. You will use a variety of software and hardware tools for these tasks. You will monitor, coordinate, and maintain test systems, identify optimization potential, and implement improvements.

 

In close collaboration with production, service, and quality management, you will play a key role in ensuring the long-term reliability and quality of laboratory automation systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execution of system integration tasks with a special focus on life-cycle management
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and other departments throughout the entire product life cycle
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations
  • Leading system integration activities from concept to implementation
  • Supporting verification and validation processes
  • Continuously improving system reliability and performance

 

Your background

  • Technical Apprenticeship and/or Degree (HF/FH) in engineering informatics or a comparable field
  • Proven experience in system integration, ideally in life sciences, medical technology, or (laboratory) automation
  • Interdisciplinary engineering knowledge, at least in one of the following areas: electronics, mechanics, software or physics
  • Basic programming skills
  • Confident use of MS Office tools
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for innovation and quality
  • Solution-oriented mindset
