Account Executive Genomics Sweden

 

What you will do

In this challenging and important role you will source new Genomics sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and e-mails.  Your responsibility will be to understand the needs and requirements of current and prospective customers as well as route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

 

Responsibilities will include

  • Individual sales territory responsibility for Order Entry (OE) and sales
  • Prospect, develop, and close sales in assigned territory
  • Participate in lead generation for sales through routine account penetration
  • Contact prospective customers to determine product needs and performs sales presentations to match those identified needs
  • Develop and maintain high-level customer satisfaction and retention through one-on-one contact with current and potential customers
  • Responding to and submitting tenders and RFQs
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve assigned sales growth and product mix
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, providing quality input and follow-up actions
  • Work closely with commercial colleagues and global marketing team to develop tactics and programs and team sell (as appropriate)
  • Maintain CRM by adding new contacts, opportunities, generating quotes, keeping all customer information current and providing accurate forecast information for the territory

 

What you bring along

  • Degree in chemistry, bio-chemistry, medical sciences (or comparable scientific or technical education) as well as a degree in sales
  • Sales experience in reagent and small equipment; at least 3-5 years of experience in the medical or life science industry is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, customer-oriented, engaging and passionate with people interaction, ability to multi-task and resilient
  • Fluent English and very good Swedish language skills
  • Readiness to travel up to 50%
