Trainee Training Administration (temporary – 12 months)

 

Männedorf, Switzerland

 

Your contribution

As a Training Administration Trainee, you will participate in a variety of administrative and support activities, including training course administration, functional support for the Tecan Academy and related skill management tools, as well as the creation and deployment of digital learning content.

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain settings within the Tecan Academy to support effective training content management and distribution.
  • Collaborate with third-party tools, such as Articulate Storyline, for content editing and deployment.
  • Provide first and second-level technical support, troubleshooting issues related to the Learning Management System (LMS) and other skill management platforms.
  • Deliver solutions to ensure a seamless user experience and optimal system functionality.
  • Optimize the LMS by configuring system settings, customizing user interfaces, and implementing new features or integrations in response to evolving requirements.
  • Partner with content owners and creators to ensure training materials are regularly updated and maintained.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all user groups, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Proactively contribute to the development and rollout of new features and functionalities within the LMS.
  • Assist the department with a variety of administrative tasks as needed.

Your background

  • University degree - B. or M. Sc. (can be ongoing) in learning technologies, instructional design, IT, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Solutions
  • Ability to use learning authoring tools and technologies (e.g. Articulate Storyline)
  • Critical thinking skills and good judgment working in an independent environment
  • Affinity for digital technologies and tools
  • Fluent English
