Training Content & Enablement Intern
Location: Morrisville, North Carolina
Position Summary
Tecan is seeking a motivated and creative Training Content & Enablement Intern to support our Aftermarket team in Morrisville, NC. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance employee learning, onboarding, and knowledge sharing while gaining exposure to training, enablement, and content development in a global life sciences organization.
Working alongside members of the Aftermarket team, the intern will assist with organizing, improving, and developing training resources that support employees across the organization. This opportunity is ideal for students or individuals interested in instructional design, communications, business, education, marketing, customer success, sales enablement, or the life sciences who are looking to develop practical business experience in a collaborative environment.

- Organizing and enhancing a searchable training content library
- Updating onboarding guides for new employees
- Standardizing training presentations and documentation
- Refreshing existing training materials and job aids
- Assisting with role-based learning resources and knowledge management tools
Essential Responsibilities
Training Content Development
- Assist with creating and updating training materials, including presentations, quick reference guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, and other learning resources.
- Help simplify technical or process-heavy information into clear, user-friendly content.
- Support branding, formatting, and consistency across training materials.
Content Organization & Process Improvement
- Organize and maintain training libraries, SharePoint sites, or other internal knowledge repositories.
- Assist with document organization, version control, and content standardization.
- Help develop templates, forms, and documentation that improve the accessibility and usability of training resources.
Team Support
- Assist with training coordination, meeting logistics, and administrative support activities.
- Gather feedback from users to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support special projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with members of the Aftermarket organization and cross-functional partners to support learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and project discussions focused on improving the employee learning experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Communications
- Marketing
- Education
- Instructional Design
- Business
- Life Sciences
- Or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Experience creating presentations, instructional materials, or other professional documents.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, video editing, Canva, Adobe Acrobat, or similar content development tools.
- Interest in training, learning & development, customer success, or organizational enablement.

Learning Opportunities

The specific projects will vary based on business needs during the internship, providing practical experience and insight into how learning and enablement support organizational success.

Salary Range: $21.00–$24.00 per hour
(Salary will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.)
