Software Architect*

Your contribution 

In this important role, you will be responsible for the design and the development of modular software architecture for bioanalytical and diagnostic applications in the field of cell analysis. In a highly motivated team, you will be developing technological concepts as well as structural requirements, which will be implemented in our software application projects.

  • Planning, design, development and documentation of a modular software architecture and its interfaces
  • Creating reference designs and best practices and supporting our projects and software developers
  • Evaluation of new software concept, tools and methodologies
  • Architecture and design reviews, as well as training our software developers

 

Your background

We're not just looking for hard skills: We're looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.

  • A completed University (of applied sciences) degree in the field of software development or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the development of software in an industrial environment using C# and the .NET framework, preferably in the area of medical technologies
  • 3+ years of experience as a software architect in a variety of projects, preferably in the area of hardware and software development
  • A solid understanding of the development of end user software
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills (German is a plus)
